I'm here again, but for a short entry- figured I'd get something up here before I get sucked into the unbelievably fun pleasure vortex that is Halo 3.

I was having girl stuff going on last time, which is still happening, but it's really weird. No-relationship-now-but-maybe-later-if-things-go-well... yeah.

Saw an airshow today, made me and Sir Sapo(his compy exploded, he's still alive) want to make Angels 22, which we're thinking about restarting because it was pretty much the best game concept ever, next to randomly shaped blocks falling from the sky.

I don't have much new art to show, girls and college are keeping me muy ocupado, as is my new 360 and my ka-razy Counterstrike Source skilz.

Speaking of art, I went to a planning meeting for this new club to go with my college(Creative Media Institute). It's called the Student Organization of Digital Artists(SODA). The meeting was to see if there was any interest in it, and there was... and I'm sort of the President now.
We write the By-laws next Friday, and I'm pretty sure my official title will be "Commandant" and I will be referred to as "His Excellency." I need to see if I can convince everybody else to get badass officer names(seriously, wouldn't you rather be "Minister of Propaganda" than "Publicist"?).

Classes are pretty good, nothing is too much of a challenge(Astronomy... holy shit it's easy for me)

Anyway, I hope to get something more substantial up here soon, I'm almost done with a couple piktars.

-Goodnight!
Previous Entry College Continues...

In my research I've been to the local Australian robotics conference, and the board of academics that run it often squabble over who will run it - or rather who won't run it, since no-one likes admin so no-one particularly wants the job. Finally one of the guys being pestered agreed to manage the thing, but only if his official title was "El Presidente". The rest of the researchers agreed [smile].
