So life's been irritatingly complex lately, while remaining busy yet boring.

Luckily, in the two years or so since I've last posted, I got some artwork done.


College
I am ready for this semester to end, it's been mildly miserable; my class schedule is irritating and girls are just plain out to get me, I suspect(no, in a bad way)

Next semester should Roooock, I have no classes on Monday or Friday, and no weekend courses so I'm gonna be rockin' in the free world four days a week.
I'm taking mostly History and Filmaking/Animation classes, along with Calculus and Archery for fun.


Helmets
So I've been drawing more helmets, because that's what I do...
...because they are fun and relatively easy photoshop projects. They may also have some utility in Angels 2X, as a avatar-like thing -each airplane would have a different helmet(not realistic, but eh.)

F-45 Helmet

A helmet purpose-built for the F-45, which will be visible if you scroll down. You won't miss it, trust me.


Ruski Helmet

This was a weird one, it changed color several times, and I finally decided to think different and go with the super-dark wine color it is now. Also: I finally have a system for making shiny things.

Helmets for the main guy in Angels 2X, the "Player" I already did two versions, but for you, it's gotta be the best.


Another F-45 helmet version, with a solid front piece, I was thinking of the Epyon from Gundam Wing at the time. Still an awesome show BTW.

An interesting(and long) compilation of videos made by F-14 squadrons before they retired the Tomcat... it's pretty hilarious how they make fun of the F-18s. Sweet missile launches at about 21:20.

F-45 Kestrel Again



Not too much different, just engine nozzles that make slightly more sense and some better shading on the intakes. The canopy is slightly shinier as well.

I'm also working on a perspectivized version of this plane, because it's pretty much my favorite design, along with the Partisans.


New Mexico Sunsets

Here in New Mexico, as a kind of "Sorry for giving you skin cancer," the sun shows off how pimp it is a few times a week, observe:
