@Navyman indeed; as it turns out when editing/developing content, especially in a world this large is is often essential to be able to switch between the very micro and the very macro.
At times you need to make sweeping changes, and others very specific tiny changes.
This is also where having such an editor helps as you can automate a lot of mundane work.

After working with almost 300 cards in my CCG I have a clear understanding of having a good game contain editor can really be. Switching out a single mechanic can take more than hour if it is part of more than a few cards.
