Well, the wife and I have officially crossed over into the "pathetic" category. We just took delivery of a big buncha groceries from HomeGrocer.com. For the uninitiated, it's a new service that home-delivers groceries that you buy over the web. Well, despite laughing about the fact that we no longer have to leave our house again, they did a great job.

FWIW, I might as well spoil you with the surprise gifts. We got a bag of produce consisting of 3 different kinds of apples, a kiwi fruit, a green pepper, an onion, and three tomatoes. Also, we got a mouse pad, a pad of shopping lists, and a sticker to stick to the underside of the mouse pad to keep passwords.

Not that I'm suggesting that if you ever come across a homegrocer.com mouse-pad that you should look under it for passwords, but you never know :)

Also interesting is that they don't charge sales tax. Dunno how they do it, but I'm not complaining.
