hi i was wondering if u can use picture publisher 8 to make 2D graphics or if paintshop pro 7? also which one is better?

Well, you can use either one. I''d probably go with Paintshop Pro. I don''t really know too much about picture publisher but it seems like it''s directed more towards web graphics. Paintshop Pro also supports layers now, which is a very useful tool. Hopefully some people that know more about Publisher will reply because I can''t attest for it, but I can tell you that Paintshop Pro is good. Ok, enough rambling

Paint Shop Pro has supported layers since at least version 5.
And I can also attest to PSP''s usefulness. It''s easy to use and fast. It also supports lots and lots of image types, more than Photoshop; very cool.
