Check out www.3dcafe.com there you can find a lot of tutorials and other stuff for 3d studio max.
I haven''t found many tutorials for low poly modeling, though there are many many sites with 3DS MAX tutorials.

http://www.ktx.com/learning_center/html/learning_tools.html#tutorials - from kinetix web site, list about all the top sites for tutorials and general animation. Most of the sites I frequent are on this list.

http://oos.hypermart.net/ - A tutorial listing with 618 MAX tutorials and a search.

RIght now I am creating a site dedicated to game art, and I am currently writing tutorials for low poly modeling...so if you have any suggestions on what you want to learn, please let me know...and I''ll try to write something for you.

Q: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for pulse?
A: No.
Q: Did you check for blood pressure?
A: No.
Q: Did you check for breathing?
A: No.
Q: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?
A: No.
Q: How can you be so sure, Doctor?
A: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.
Q: But could the patient have still been alive nevertheless?
A: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law somewhere
