Hi, this my first post. I''d like to introduce developers to YIFF 2.07. It''s targetted to OSS/ALSA standard UNIX platforms (such as Linux). http://fox.mit.edu/xsw/yiff It comes with a fully documented programming library called YLib (derived from Xlib) to help programmers easilly add sound support to their games. The Y sound system is multi client, meaning you can play more than one game at one time on one machine (or even play sound to a foreign machine). YIFF is a completed and stable sound server, it has proven itself reliable for over two years and has been stable for atleast a year (of UPTIME!!). Give it a try, if you have any questions please write back!
