London, UK - May 30th, 2000. Positech Computing have just started the second beta test for their strategy game Starlines inc. Starlines inc. puts you in charge of a fleet of space-ships carrying passengers and cargo across the galaxy. The game has both a freeform option and a mission based option, where, for example, the player has to get hold of a certain amount of cargo and deliver it on time. Starlines inc. gives you direct control over every aspect of running your star-ships, from hiring the right people as engineers, stewards and cargo hands, to setting the prices you charge and selecting the type of cargo for transportation. Starlines also allows you to customise your ship''s configuration, adding hazardous cargo-pods, extra cabins, even smuggling compartments. This beta test allows players to get a taste of the game, with a tutorial and single mission currently available. For details on how to sign up for the beta, visit the Positech web site at http://www.positech.co.uk/starlines/ Positech are currently looking for a publisher for Starlines inc. Positech Computing Ltd are UK based independent games developers, whose first published game was the arcade/shootemup Star Miner, currently published in retail and over the web by egames (http://www.egames.com). http://www.positech.co.uk
