learning neural nets

I''m really interested in learning how neural nets work, but so far i haven''t seen many good articles. have you guys seen any?

Try this link. Read genetic algorithms first...then neural nets.
As for your math problem i''m stumped (how the heck could an ellipse have a fixed radius?)
