Think you could ever make and AI like the ones in Neuromancer for a game?

I would probably say that no it isn''t possible to make similar types of AI''s to use in games as those existing in Neuromancer. They have a "conscious" thought which we can''t yet duplicate.. However.. there is no reason why you can''t programme a game to give the illusion of an AI, as long as you have enough rules to make responses appear sufficently human.. which I think is what your asking for?

of course, that''s the essence of the Turing test, if you can make an AI that can fool you into thinking it''s human, then it is concious.

Do you have a current knowledge with creating AI with the tools we have now?

The best AI bot ever written so far is supposed to be AliceBot. Which doesn't mean much, since it's almost as easily confused as the (in)famous Eliza from 1966. (Eliza was stupid beyond words).

That tells us something about how easy a Gibson-style AI is to make, eh?
