Sneftel: Unfortunately, TFM since the change to vers 5.0 of lua is not crystal clear on how the libraries should be compiled for use with a Windows OS. Some people find the instructions ambiguous.

Right on. The manual, (yes i read the manual) tells you the files to build the core lib, standard lib, and compiler lib. Or something like that. It does not offer an explanation of which you should use. Poor documentation should not be followed with ridiculing the end user about not understanding it. And yes, this is version 5.0 im trying to use.
