Then go to PROJECTX. I havent heard of a Team 17 game by the same name, and yes, it is done in DirectX.

Do you have a gamma option for ProjectX? It's dark on my cruddy monitor. If you want, I could lend a hand with graphics.

When I started the app I got some VERY dark message boxes saying
it could not load the tiles and the bitmaps and such.

Thanks for the replies. I will be doing some work on the game soon to try and iron out some of the bugs which are cropping up. I may add an option to brighten the screen up.
Which app were you running skitzo_smurf? I have had similair complaints about the map editor, but not for the game itself.
