Hello... There's a new free-texture resource available at: http://www.TextureUniverse.com Along with free textures (for non-commercial use, or commercial use with permission), there are texture, 3D, sci-fi art and game-development links, tutorials, and a forum. The site is directed at the player, editor, or user moreso than the developer, but I'm going to be adding much content in the coming weeks that looks at the development angle as well. I've mentioned this elsewhere in these forums, but I've only promoted word-of-mouth so far. I'm going to have the site indexed by the search engines once it's better matured. So please check out the site, give me some feedback, help yourself to some textures (in accordance with my licensing terms) and link-back or bookmark the site wherever possible. Like this site, it's meant to be a community resource and forum. And be sure to let me know what you think....
