3d max help!!!!!
okay, you ready? here it goes.
go into video post.
add input scene event, the icon on the left of filter event.
select the viewport that you want to add effects to.
add filter event.
choose the type of filter you want.
in here, you must also select an effects channel. this corresponds to the effects channel in the materials editor. it must not be set to zero. so, if you wanted a glowing cylinder, you assign a material with effects channel 1, then in the filter event, select channel 1, and the glow filter.
then set up the output event, which is where you''re outputting your scene(i.e. file, disk, etc)
got it? cool.
