Modeler / Animator for a Fighting Game TC

Sup, this is Morpheus. Game designer/ Lead coder for ©xtreme combat. I’m looking for an experienced to semi experienced individuals and animators for our TC which is a fighting game. #The hottest position at the moment: --ANIMATOR-- The animator(s) will be responsible for animating the models with basic moves first. I believe that it would be easier to attempt that in the interim. For Example: 1. Punch /Low Punch /High Punch 2. Kick /Low Kick /High Kick 3. Jump 4. Block /Low Block /High Block 5. Crouch If these animations are successful, which I know will take time. Then we can graduate to special moves. Note: I admit that in the area of modeling and animation I am ignorant of the technical details, but I am working to have a high level understanding of all the positions on my team. #About the game: Xtreme Combat is a Total Conversion for the Serious Sam engine. For those of you who have played D.O.A or Tekken or Super Street fighter 3D then you should have a good idea for what we are going to accomplish. But there is alot more to it which is explained in the design doc. #Positions: There are other positions available at the moment also but the animator is the hot topic right now! If you feel you can contribute in other areas then by all means stop by. Later this evening I will update the page with an FAQ that may answer most of your questions about the game. We also have the lead coder from the DragonballZ remix port from the SFRIBM engine. I have an excellent mapper from australia who kicks major ass! and a experienced HL mapper (TaZer). 2 concept artist -- (note: most of the concept art that is there isn’t really the game art, it was just to see how it will look, but when we officially launch we will post the real game art) and we have a lot more coming during the up coming weeks. To conclude, I have been coming out here for a while and I know how hostile "Game Dev Forums" can be LOL.
