Basically I have the points for a polygon and want to draw a texture inside it. If it makes it easier the bottom is always horizontal and there are no over hanging points, eg. if you go vertically down from anywhere within the polygon you will get to the bottom of the polygon without having to go out then back in the shape.
eg. Possible:
... ...
........... ...
.................
Not Possible:
.... ....
.... ..
..............
Hopefully you will understand this, the second diagram should show some over hanging points.
I'm using DirectX 7 and VB, code would be helpful but theory is fine.
