DX Blit Performance

Just a quick question... I'm currently writing a tile engine, and am planning on supporting different size tiles for use with different resolutions.

Is there much much performance decrease when using tiles of, say, 39x41 pixels (ie. not divisibly by 2 etc.)?

Hmm well i dont know i guess it would depend on the card. But most are optimized for powers of two.
