The team must communicate well!
the leader must work real hard to make the team active!

It sounds interesting. I don''t know if I really count as a beginner though. Anyways, any idea what sort of libraries are going to be used (DirectX, Allegro). Currently I''m using the Allegro library, that would probably be a good place to start for beginners (I heard DirectX was hard to learn).

I''ve been following this thread. Kezz has''nt posted here
since Aug 13.
Not including anonymous posters, this thread consists
of 17 individuals interested in doing something like
this. With such support, it should definitely proceed.
The named posters where:
August 29:
undefined, Merc22, Kittykat, Drizzt Dourden, MAD_Mask
August 31: Lebowski18, gauro98
September 5:
xeromhz, browny, InvaderX, Chris Fedrico, taybrin
September 9: Kohoy, mad_hatter
September 16: thoot
September 18: JonMon001, Sephiroth03
My question is, has the group done anything yet ?
I noticed that there was a lack of E-MAIL responses.
How are you going to organize a 17+ group. Can you imagine
how much programming a 17+ member group can get done ?
I''m willing to step in as an organizer, but there is others
that must step in as well. There should be subgroups of
about 3 to 5 that respond to a sub-group leader. Then there
should be a Web Site that code can be uploaded to.
Each sub-group should have a common goal. It should also have
a mix of programmers with varying levels of experience. One
person in each group should have a fair amount of programming
experience. Those with little or no experience could learn
from the group. And just because you don''t have much experience
does''nt mean you don''t have good ideas. Don''t forget the
creative side game making. The writers, the artists etc.
I believe we should discuss the organization part of this
venture. This is of course there is''nt anything happening
already.
