Hi everbody, I'm working in a racing game, and now we need make the sound fx. The problem, It's that we dont have any idea how to make the gears audio. Know when the change the gear? Have a litle change in tune audio, for sample, if up gear, then the audio stay most acute, else if down gear, the audio stay most "severe".

My doubt is, have some lib that I can tune the audio in real time? I'm talk this, because is the single way to make this, but if anyone have other idea.

Thanks guys, and sorry my bad english :D
Actually there are ways to do this in real time. What of audio engine are you using? Middleware audio engines like Wwise and Fmod feature methods where you can take multiple samples and cross fade between them as your vehicle changes speed. Other method is granular synthesis as well.
