So I'm new here, but not so new to sound. Anyway, I've heard a few suggestions about what software to use for various aspects of doing sound design for games, but I figured I could get everyone's opinions in one spot. I'm also really hoping this hasn't been done already, lol.

Anyway, so far I run Pro Tools 9 for all of my actual design work, and then compile them into either Fmod or WWISE.

I'm still learning how to use both, but I'd love to hear what other programs exist to do things along the same lines. I know Fmod is good for Unreal Integration, and WWISE is supposed to be pretty solid all around, but I didn't know if there was anything else.

Let me hear what you guys think!
