You mean along the lines of the chess game? No, nothing else like that. There have been some chess programs that used EC (genetic algorithms) but nothing particularly spectacular that I can bring to mind. I'm not awaer of any other game like CDDNA though there are probably some out there.

Well, the Creatures games do, of course, use GAs, but they're not Risk-like at all. More digital ant farms than anything else.

I've been kicking around using this approach for a strategic space game AI but haven't found the time to do it myself yet. I did propose it for the upcoming AI Wisdom book but it wasn't accepted as a chapter, so I'll have to do it some other time.
