Right now I am using 3D Studio MAX R3 for my levels, Im using DX7, and I have a plugin to export .x files. I was wondering if this is the way to go. My Enviroment is a neiborhood and streets and its a little hard to line up the streets, and just a little too powerful for level editing If anyone has any help, please Post, thanks again

well, what other way is there? make ur own editor?!? i've been spending 2 month grueling at it, believe me, not a very cool endeavor...
there are many other editors out there... hmm, this is the one thing i don't get, WHY didn't so many editors allow for high precision keyboard input???? a GOOD artist knowing what they're doing can probably work more efficiently simply with keyboard input... they did all the complex mouse operations, but no keyboard! am i missing something?
as far as i can tell, 3d max gives u the most control, correct me if i'm wrong.

3DS Max dosnt give you nearly enough presision with the keyboard, and its hard to line up polygons exactly with the mouse.
I''ve always gotten the precision I need in max by making little coordinate systems and then restricting (locking) the axes of certain objects. Check them out, they''re wicked useful.
