Can the site be adjusted to allow google talk IDs in the contact information?

Currently, it supports skype, msn messenger (now the same thing, surely?) ICQ, Jabber and Yahoo Messenger IDs. As many people have moved away from ICQ and Yahoo messenger in the past few years, and a lot of people do use Google Talk (or "Hangouts", or whatever they want to call it this week) maybe this would be a good idea.

I do understand that GTalk is kind of similar to Jabber in only that it uses the same protocol - because the servers are different and distinct, and Google Talk specific I am of the opinion that it counts as an entirely different service.
