Whenever i try to compile something using dev-c++, i always get an error. Even a simple hello world program. with dev-c++, do i need more headers than the iostream.h?

Well, are you using functions defined in headers besides iostream.h?

nevermind...i do need more headers. i looked at a hello world example of their''s which came with and it had 4 headers instead of the one like in djgpp
