Futuristic Magic FPS

This game will take place in a dystopian future featuring magic and weapon based combat it is still very early in development but we have a very strong idea as to what we want in this, the game will be played much like Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Multiplayer but with the addition of magic and magic based weapons, this game is being developed by Mythic Gaming as well as Shibble Dibble Games the game will feature 6 different characters 3 males and 3 females the each will have their own voice actor and the look of your character will be dependent on the magic type you equipped such as if you are a necromancer the outfit will be a lot more black and feature skeleton based armor and there will be weapons that you only get after a certain amount of kills/time much like the specialist weapons in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 but this weapon will not change how you look. If you want to throw an idea at us we are open just send an email to mythicgame.dev@gmail.com and if we adore your idea we will contact you for further assistance (some of this game may have a slightly satanic taste we do not mean to offend anyone thank you)

I'm not sure I understand your question. Is there one,or are you just recruiting? If so you should do that in classifieds.

Good luck!

Sounds like it could be fun. I'm not sure why you'd need voice acting in a game that plays like a multiplayer match. There doesn't seem to be a lot of dialogue and such outside of exclamation and calling attacks and summons. That would be cool btw, but if you're doing a 4 on 4 multiplayer and there are only six characters, then people are starting to double up and you get clones and stuff, which is fine, but it makes having six characters an odd choice to me. Maybe have six body types and six voice options with a pitch slider.

Using different types of magic in the same way an FPS uses different types of weapons sounds like a super duper cool idea. Switching back and forth between magicks with different advantages based on what you're trying to do, what you're trying to counter, and the terrain. Setting up magical traps and all that kind of stuff, could be a really awesome game and system. Perhaps summoning plays a big role as the mechs do in Titanfall or the killstreak bonuses do in Call of Duty. Once you have 7-12 cool different magic types, set up a conflict between two kingdoms, and a nice arena, and viola, a really cool first person magical duel where players are running and 'gunning' while setting up mid range moves with traps and wards and longer cast time spells, and also playing towards the long game which may involve an epic summon or some other arena-based objective. I'd play that game.

I'm guessing that Mythic Games is the gaming group that hosts private servers for some FPS games?
And I can't find anything on Shibble Dibble Games. Presumably this is the first project of a startup working together (or composed of) some well-organized FPS fans?

I think you need to scale back your scope. These types of games are pretty tough to make, that's why there's not millions of them. You appear to be at an exploratory phase and you're already talking about several characters with their own voice actors! This is not a good sign.

Maybe develop a futurist magic FPS... that's single player, focusing on a single character, and maybe make it so someone involved is the voice actor if you're really set on it.
