What happened to all today's posts?
Was the database rolled back? We seem go have lost a ton of data...?
For example the recent post on ransomware in general discussion...

It seems only a few posts effected, this thread I mentioned and the one about the cancelled gamedev legends at usc. Maybe some others I don't post on.

Sometimes it seems that the GDNet servers go down, and the site starts getting served up by some backup/proxy thing, which is slightly out of date, and doesn't accept any new posts / etc...
That's the thing... I was able to repost my lost post by copying and pasting from my history o_O. It even appeared for a while as the only reply to the op.
It appeared now as a duplicate, which I've edited away.

Now if you do anything while inside the outdated proxy, then you create a time paradox, because you just did something that wasnt really done in the current timeline. In which case, Marty, we need to go BACK TO DA FUTURE.
