Hello! We're a two-person (about to be three with our musician) indie dev team looking for people to recruit for our in-development PC game project! This job is hobby/rev-share, which means that if it makes revenue, you will earn a reasonably negotiable share of the total income. (we are aiming for a 4 person team, so share will likely be around 25% or more)
This new game is a unique bullet-hell shooter that brings new light to the fabled spaceship shoot-em-up genre. In a futuristic human society, you play as a pilot of an elite fighter force who sets off from home to find their lost loved one. Narrative features dialogue, lore, and a more hidden form of the story told through the world itself. The gameplay features intense, action-packed dodging alongside fast strategic decisions to battle off a variety of enemy types and dynamic bosses.

A good chunk of the planning has been made, but we need help! We're looking for a pixel artist to help us finish this game and make it awesome! (and maybe make some money too)
For artists, we specifically need someone who can:
  • Draw medium-resolution pixel art spaceships, portraits, and backgrounds
  • Design a user interface (buttons, screens, windows)
  • Be able to communicate on Skype.
You don't have to be great to be accepted, as we're not exactly professionals in our fields either, but please come with some interest in helping us! We're actually looking between newbies and well-paid professionals, so if you lie somewhere in that range and don't mind sharing a good portion of the revenue, we'll take you in!
