Gamedevs are poor - ask elsewhere

New CPU, Mainboard and RAM: once in 10 years.

GPU: all 3 years

All the rest: never.

Well, the one I'm using right now for gaming and game development, I bought it just a year ago and it's my first gaming PC. Don't have any intentions of replacing it yet. I'll probably wait around 2-3 years more.

I bought my PC about 2 years ago, primarily for my 3D art and rendering. I play games sometimes, but not much. I won’t be upgrading for another 3 years probably. Seems like a good schedule to be in from what I’ve read.
