problem with .dae files

I am checking the vertex_weights.

and i understand that the <vcount> is supposed to hold how many nodes it uses but.

I read you said that this should have 1 value x points.

I know the number of vertices are 3618. but for some reason there are 7235 different values so.

how that makes any sense? please advice i am stuck

And i am sorry but i found my mistake, there was no mistake but instead of trying to check the number of components where checking for the number of characters (forgot to use the split by spaces) and with so many was confused. it matches perfectly.
