Will learning Agile drastically improve marketability? as a producer

Hello,

I've got 7 years of experience in coordinating projects, but I don't know any standard project management methodologies. I've used Trello to track projects, but just about every production role I see requires Agile development.

Is Agile really worth learning?

Should I look into scrum?

I'd basically consider my self an associate producer., and I look for such roles.

Also are pm certifications worth the investment?

I know producers are sr level roles, but with 7 years of experience and a university degree with a portfolio,It feels that should be enough to get paid roles, but I'm having trouble.

Yes, you really need to read up on Agile in general, and Scrum in particular.

But having done some reading, or even passing a test, are not very useful on your resume without having had the chance to apply your learning to actual practice. Your next project needs to use agile or agile-like practices.
