Otter Kingdom is an adventure online RPG where users can own in-game assets via NFTs and earn tokens while playing. The game is about two dominant species living on the same island in the middle of the ocean, Otters and Cats that have been at war for as long as they can remember.
It's a goofy non serious game heavily inspired by Zelda The Wind Waker and Genshin Impact. Of course team members need to have some kind of interest for the crypto gaming space, be it NFTs or play to earn.
Why join us?
The team is currently 4 people strong, mostly engineers. The lead developer is a AAA veteran who worked as a core engineer on The Elder Scrolls Online, Quake Champions and other unannounced projects.
The game has been in development on the side for multiple years now so you can rest assured we are not going anywhere.
Recruitment
We are looking for multiple talent to join us on this adventure! We have been getting assets by hiring freelancers from time to time but we would like to have a more long term and invested artists in our ranks!
As this is a hobby project we don't ask anyone to be fulltime, but we would like members who can commit at least 15h a week.
Environment Artist
- Able to work within the stylized art style we chose for the game. Able to create 3D assets and painterly textures.
- Good communication skills
Character Design
- Create the assets for different types of creatures in the game.
Illustrator
- Your job will be to draw illustration that 3D artists can use as a template for the different models they are working on.
Character Animator
- Work closely with both the character designers, gameplay designers and programmers to create responsive and good looking animations!
Compensation
We offer two compensation mechanisms:
- Tokenized based compensation, part of the ERC20 tokens created for the game will be allocated to you every time you complete a task.
- Profit sharing, you will not get any tokens but the tokens and NFTs sold by the company will generate a profit, you will earn a share of that profit.
