What 3ds Max 4 books would you recommend for beginners. Also is there any good internet sites with tutorials for 3ds max 4.

The tutorials included on the install are the best way to get your feet wet with 3D Max. Each one tries to touch on as many features as possible without bogging you down with information. All the companion files are on the second CD, so if you got the warez version I would start hunting for that ISO.
