Level Editor??

Does anyone know any good websites on how to make a level editor? I dont know the first thing about how to make one, but I need to learn how before I make my second game, a breakout clone. I just finished pong and am ready to move on. Thanks

Search for Mappy on a search engine. This is an open source level editor, written in MFC.

sure, it isn''t that hard... for a breakout game, all you really need in your level files is a list of blocks positions and colors.
basically, you need to make a program that let''s you draw/drop/place bricks into a grid, and then saves those blocks'' positions and colors to a file.
then, you load that file into your game, and the game knows where the blocks belong.
