I would like to know which tools would be used to draw a Baldurs Gate type of level. I know there is Bryce for generating terrain and plants, but what other software is out there? I am thinking along the lines of 2d drawing software...

baldur gates scenary is a mix of many styles, EVEN 3d!.. then finally they group this in a big imagen, and this can be supported for many programs (photoshop for example).
