This just dawned on me.... If Windows 2000 doesnt come equipped with DOS.....then how in the HELL will I play Ultima 7??! MS-Dos isnt worth a sh*t........
Its all fun and games till someone gets pregnant.

I think Win2000 still uses the dos console, so I don''t think it''ll be a problem. Ms Win2000 homepage even says 16-bit dos programs should work, even though some older games won''t run good on Win2000.

I think it''s a really good move by Microsoft, to finally clear out this old unstable crap code that''s been around for several years now. Btw, Win2000 isn''t really the next Windows 98, because Win2000 is based on NT technology, so don''t compare those two, please.

Windows 2000 definitely has a console, well at least it looks like a console... it now has a vertical scroller which is nice, if it will run Ultima 7... i don''t know...

Windows 2000 supports DOS I think. But if your looking for more of a Windows 98 based OS just wait for Windows 98 Third Edition or Millineum. Millineum is better than Windows 2000 for gamers but it does move away from DOS. If your going to get Windows 2000 then try dual-booting. That means you can run Windows 3.1, 95, or 98 when you have installed Windows 2000.
Does anyone listen to Destiny''s Child, TLC, or Sammie?
