3ds max4 exporter

where can i find an exporter for conversion to a .x file? if u r recommending the conv3d, how do u actually get it to work?
From Microsoft''s DirectX SDK Extras download page. There''s a link on the right for Direct3D XFile Exporters. There''s one for Maya, 3ds MAX 3.x and 4.x
