President & CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment Jim Ryan posted on the PlayStation.Blog yesterday about Sony's new Play At Home Initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first part of the Stay At Home Initiative is the offering of the Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection (3 game collection) and Journey available for free from April 15 to May 5.

More importantly to developers at GameDev.net, Sony Interactive Entertainment has setup a fund to support independent game development partners with an earmarked $10 million fund. More details will be available soon along with participation criteria. Watch this space for more.
