i have an 3d character a rig and a animation but i dont know how to replace my player character by the animated one also i dont know how to switch between animations can anyone help me with that?

You should use an animator and parameters to switch between your animations.

You can watch the video below. It shows the basic animations and it will give you idea how you can handle it.
